It is no secret that the elephants are the largest beast in the world and so they weigh in tonnes. On an average, an elephant weighs between 6,000 to 13,000 pounds. As far as their height is concerned then they usually stand tall at 11 feet. The largest elephant recorded till now was an adult male African elephant with the weight of 24,000 pounds and height of 13 feet tall at the shoulder. The elephant was shot dead.
