Dana Vollmer

Champion swimmer, Dana Whitley Vollmer was the youngest member of the gold-winning team in the London Olympics. She has an amazing achievement of breaking Natalie Coughlin’s record of the 200-yard freestyle. She received coaching from Gregg Troy in her earlier days. Apart from winning gold in the team event, she also won 3 gold medals in the individual category.

After her success in the London Olympics, she went on to win three medals along with her team in the next edition of the Olympics held at Rio in 2016. Unbelievably, she participated in Women’s 50 free in the Indie series despite the fact that she was 6 months pregnant. Born with a golden heart, she is an ambassador for The American Heart Association.
