So when this lady was getting ready to watch the movie she had picked out from Redbox, she unexpectedly met with a shocking discovery. Why was the DVD case not empty and how come she received it this way? She was truly surprised. And Mrs. Robledo’s daughter, Elizabeth was the first person she spoke to about the Redbox DVD case.
Stammering On The Line
She made a call and informed her daughter about the shocking discovery she had made. And since she was stammering, her daughter could not hear her words properly. And so while the two were on the line, Elizabeth had to ask her mother to repeat herself multiple times. She then heard her mother clearly say, “I found money inside my DVD rental!”
100 Dollars
So when Mrs. Robledo opened the DVD case, she could see what had been kept inside all along. She took out her phone and click a photo to send to Elizabeth. She could not believe it so she had to capture the contents on her camera phone. Mrs. Robledo saw five 20-dollar bills inside of the DVD case she had rented which means $100 dollars was there…
The Possibilities
So to see that a random DVD case had this much money inside made Mrs. Robledo a little suspicious. Why would anyone leave any money in a place like this? Could this be a payment made for late returns? Was it a fee that the people who were working at Redbox had to pay? Even Elizabeth got curious. And then, her mother’s next words lead her to search for her phone…
