Shelly and her husband made it back home in an uber, sound, safe and yes a little drunk. It was a long day and they immediately collapsed on their bed and fell asleep. They woke up next morning all sobered up without showing any signs of a hangover. Shelly had decided to pick her car from the Sherwood Park, Alberta the following day, but when she stepped outside the door of her home, it didn’t seem likely to happen.
Snowed In
Everyone knows the fact that Canadian winters can get harsh at times. The town was hit by a snowstorm the very next day, though this was nothing new for the Canadians as they are used to such snowfall. However, it is wise to stay home and wait for the storm to end as it is not safe outside. Shelly had to do the same and was temporarily unable to recover her car for the time being, but when she does make it to her car she’ll be taken aback by the sight that awaited her.
Wait! Not Yet
The storm lasted longer than anyone had expected it to be but then there’s no control we have over nature. Shelly couldn’t retrieve her car the very next day and for another 24 hours to follow. Let’s visit Shelly’s past, remember her history with the parking tickets? It might come across as funny to some of us but it must have been really frustrating for Shelly to have gone through the same thing over and over again. This time she couldn’t afford another unnecessary parking ticket but there wasn’t much she could do about it. She had to wait for a total of 48 hours before finally making it back but her car wasn’t the only thing that awaited her.
Not Looking Good
As soon as she saw her car, Shelly could tell it wasn’t good. Shelly looked at her car and instantly realized that it had turned into a disaster. It was covered under a 4 inch thick blanket of snow. It looked as if the car had been abandoned for months and Shelly was nothing but embarrassed by the sight she had to witness. She was also worried thinking what if the snow had caused any potential damage to her car. But she couldn’t just stand there till eternity, so she decided to go near her car and check for herself.
Something On Her Windshield
The first thing Shelly did was to brush and wipe off the thick layers that laid over the windows and the windshield of the car so she could at least drive it. While she was at it, Shelly caught the sight of a spooky note that rested on the windshield of her car. She had a fleeting moment of panic as she thought it to be another parking ticket. But was it a parking ticket as always or things were more serious this time? We are just about to find out.
Bracing For The Worst
Shelly had left her car at the parking lot for too long now. It had almost been as much as 48 hours and she started assuming what problem she had invited now. She recalled her past experiences and was certain that it was nothing but a parking ticket, irrespective of the fact that there were never any parking attendants at that particular place. Shelly took a closer look and it turned out it wasn’t a parking ticket. It appeared to be a note. Was it some sort of threat? Shelly was about to read and unravel the unknown.
