“I KNOW THE PEOPLE IN THE PICTURE! I was at the wedding,” tweeted Fred on the post. Sadly, he didn’t receive any response from Elizabeth. After seeing her efforts, Fred wasn’t ready to give up so soon. He thought of another way to tell Elizabeth what he had to say. He connected with her via LinkedIn on the very next day. And there it was, she noticed and immediately took her phone and dialed Fred’s number.
A Significant Call
Fred was in the photograph and it was clear that he’ll know all the answers Elizabeth has been looking for over the years. She was right, Fred had all the answers and Elizabeth couldn’t stop crying. She was with her family at the time and they couldn’t understand if these were the tears of happiness or sorrow…
Truth
Fred told her that photo was clicked in 2001 at his friends’ wedding, Christian and Christine Laredo. The wedding took place in Aspen, Colorado and the day was a memorable one for Fred and hence he kept the photo pinned in his cubicle with the other photos. He used to work with Baseline Financial, which was located on the 77th floor of the WTC’s second tower. So, what about Christian and Christine?
Before He Could Reach
Fred told Elizabeth that on the morning of September 11 he was running late for his office and by the time. Before he could ever make it to the office the buildings collapsed. The attack impacted him badly enough that he didn’t think of anything at all for days and weeks.
She Is Alive Too
Elizabeth was amazed to hear that every person in the photograph was alive and was living happy lives. Fred even told Christine, the bride on the photograph about all that happened. Christine was so excited and wanted to talk to Elizabeth.
A Baby Girl
Christine and Christian even have a beautiful baby girl. “The photo has become a symbol of resilience after 9/11. I can’t wait to show it to my daughter,” said Christine who was deeply moved by Elizabeth’s efforts.
