Every Step Was Criticized
Many people criticized Elizabeth of overreacting and that she should not think about this picture. However, Elizabeth knew that she’s doing the right thing she didn’t receive the type of response she deserved. Some people even thought that the young professor was being too emotional about the picture.
She Too Had A Life
Elizabeth too had a life on her own and she always had an option of giving up but she didn’t. People pointing at her didn’t really concern her. As a matter of fact, her life never stopped because of one picture but she took it as her responsibility knowing that anyone who is related to this picture had a right to have it. But will this photograph ever make it to its rightful owner?

Declining Hopes
It was already 13 years since she started with her mission and nothing came up. Being a human, Elizabeth was wondering if she was doing enough or if she should have done something more to find out the owner of the photograph. There was just one thought that kept her going during all these years…
What Kept Her Moving?
“It’s a beautiful photo. There is a lot of happiness in it. There are tons of possibilities. And I think the thing that kept me committed to getting it back is that it was found regardless of what the story is. Whatever it is, it deserves to get back to where it came from,” said Elizabeth trying to express her feelings and the reason that made her hope for the best during all these years.
Scared Of The Worse
The thought of anyone in the photograph that Elizabeth held on to safely for years was killed in the attacks was scary. “I’ve always tried very hard to resist putting a story to the photo because I didn’t want to presume that everyone in it was dead,” she explained.
