Sarah and Bill Thistlethwaite were on cloud nine when they learned that they are going to welcome a new member in their family. This was the second time Sarah was going to be a mother. She was already parenting a son at that time. Although it was not the first time she was going to give birth, this certainly was going to be a life-changing experience for her.

Beginning

Sarah, a maths teacher by profession and Bill, a clinical director, fell in love in no time after setting their eyes on each other. After a few months of dating, the two decided to take their relationship to next level by tying the knot. Thereafter the two started their family in Orrville, Ohio. Their family began to expand when Sarah gave birth to their son.

Desire Come True

Though the two were extremely happy with the birth of their son, they still wanted a daughter. Sarah had the deep desire of having a girl baby. She believed a family is complete in a real sense when it has a daughter. The good news once again knocked at their door when Jaxon, their son got a year old. The little family got showered with warm greetings from their families and friends. Sarah was extremely happy. This time she wanted a cute little princess. And with that their family would get completed. The couple belonged to an economically sound family which means they would not face any financial problem.

A Different Feeling

However, this time the lady was feeling little different. She had not felt this way before in her first pregnancy. The constant pain was sucking the energy out of her. She had never felt so vulnerable before. However, she took it as a symptom of pregnancy. Was she right?  As usual, the couple went for an ultrasound. It was then the technician revealed to them that she is having not one but twins. Well, the news came as a surprise to them. No need to say their happiness doubled with the news. As far as Sarah was concerned she was a bit tensed as to how would she be carrying the twins in her womb. Sarah reminisces, “We were in shock – we sat there and laughed and then cried and then we would laugh again.” Ordinarily, the couple bearing twins have a history of multiple kids in their family. However, that was not the case here. The multiple births never ran in the family of Sarah and Bill. This was the first time. Naturally, the news of twins excited their entire family.

Two Years To Go

Fortunately, the duo are doing extremely fine even after the two years of their birth. Sarah clarified “They have absolutely no health problems. They are normal 2-year-olds.” “They run around. They chase after their brother, who teaches them pretty much what not to do, and then they still do it anyway,” she added.Interestingly, the twins are identical that often confuses people. As far as their parents are concerned, they successfully have come up with a solution for this. Jilian has a small blue vein stretching over her nose. But it is not always they succeed in recognizing them. But their elder brother Jaxon takes some time in distinguishing between the two.

Double Trouble

But that does not mean they do not put each other in trouble. Sarah admits, “But with that being said, they have no problem tattling on each other. They definitely will blame or get the other one in trouble.”

Though the twins look quite similar, they have different personalities. Whereas Jillian is a daredevil, Jenna likes to be careful while doing anything. Jillian likes playing pranks.

Sarah sums up her experience by saying, “It just explains the whole pregnancy for me, them being together the whole time. They need each other, they’re there for each other and they’ve got such an attachment.” Sarah continues,”Even once they were born, they wanted to be right beside each other because that’s what they’re used to. It’s that constant touch.” Sarah does not forget to thank the support she is getting from people outside her home. She said, “Orrville is a small town, so I had a lot of community support and that support has only gotten bigger (since the girls’ birth).” “People are proud to see them on TV or in the news. It doesn’t matter how many times they’re on. Everybody loves it,” Sarah stated.
