Doing Wonders For The Country

Wells Gray is one of 600 parks that can be witnessed and admired throughout British Columbia. This place is among the province’s largest and is believed to be holding many wonders. There are just too many wonders waiting to get explored in this area, and that is what exactly happened that day.

Hidden Treasures

According to geologists, there are over 700 species of vascular plant and approximately 219 different sorts of bird species living in the area. And don’t forget more than 56 types of mammal who inhabits the area. If it wasn’t some rare species or plant, what was it that the team found out in the wildlife?

Waterfalls Park Hiding Something

Wells Gray which is also known as “Canada’s Waterfalls Park,” is believed to have over 39 torrents that have particularly been named. The largest of these are the Spahats, Helmcken, and Silvertip waterfalls.  Behind one of the waterfalls, there was something which stayed hidden for centuries and it was in 2018 when this team of wildlife experts stumbled upon it.

Cariboo Mountains

Wells Gray Park is situated in the southern part of the Cariboo Mountains. The tallest Cariboo peaks come under the collection called the Premier Range. The peaks are named after 11 Canadian Prime Ministers, one name from their British counterparts, and a sole heal of British Columbia.

Stunning Sights

Surprisingly, there is an abundance of rare species in this area, as do other things. The team stumbled upon something really interesting this time. They have seen many rare things in their lives but this was something else entirely. There was something else hiding in these wild huge lands. What was it?

Taking Action

The government had no other choice but to take some appropriate measures before any other danger falls upon caribou and other wildlife in this area. So, they came up with a program that protects herds of mammals in the whole region. It was important to locate how many animals were there in that particular area. So how did they manage to do that? And while doing that they came across something extraordinary.
