As quickly as possible, she reached the pizza store. As she took quick steps in the pizzeria, she understood right away that it wasn’t quite the place that it should be. Her heart skipped a beat at the moment she opened the door to the main area.
A Brand New Restaurant
Deedee Zgonis had no clue that she just became part of a huge surprise plan. Her jaw dropped in shock and she stood there for a moment trying to catch up with what all this was about. Deedee needed an explanation but she couldn’t see her daughter around and so she had to walk further.
OMG!
As she reached in the serving area, she exclaimed, “Oh my God! Are you kidding me?” She couldn’t believe her eyes… her restaurant looked brand new. It was completely renovated and she never saw this coming her way. And then she saw her daughter coming out of the kitchen with her family and friends.
A Gift For Deedee
Deedee instantly got all her answers. She knew that everyone was worried for her but not even her best dreams she could have thought of this great effort. So, was it all planned when Deedee said yes for the Florida trip? No! It was planned way back.
Part Of The Surprise
The entire trip was part of this surprise. Deedee’s friends organized the weekend getaway for her so that they could renovate the restaurant which was so close to not only her late husband’s heart but also hers. This was the day that brought the long lost ray of hope back into her life.
They Knew Her Heart
All of these people knew how Deedee wanted to redo the place but due to her financial crunches, she could never take a step into the direction of renovating the pizzeria. Many a times, she shared her plans about the restaurant with her friends and therefore, all of them came together to contribute their part to bring a smile back on their friend’s face.
