To further prove just how nice she is as a person, there were two regular patrons that had been served by Colleen for years to prove this fact. It turns out, Colleen had done something extraordinary. Sierra, a server at the restaurant told interviewers just how much Colleen is willing to do to make the customers happy by citing one incident.
Greg And Fran
It was something that Colleen had done for one particular couple that really touched Sierra. This couple has been loyal customers at the restaurant for years and Colleen could definitely be one major reason behind this. “We had a couple here, Greg and Fran, they pretty much would come in every single day,” she explains. “And Fran had a lot of medical issues.”
A Devastating News
It was very unfortunate but the couple realized that Fran had cancer. So such a devastating news did not sit well with Colleen who decided that she needed to do something. Since Fran was one of her most loyal customers, Colleen wanted to be there for her during her customer’s treatment. She would frequently go to Greg and Fran’s house or even drop by at the hospital.
Over And Beyond
For most of us, we would definitely feel bad for a loyal customer to have this kind of serious sickness, but who would actually go to the extent of visiting them and supporting them during their time of treatment? It is highly unlikely for anyone to be this dedicated. Another co-worker of hers named Jaden explained Colleen’s gestures as “going way over and beyond.”
Fran Passes Away
As we all know life does not go like planned and sometimes we are faced with the hardest struggles. Even after getting the best possible treatment Fran sadly passed away. It was certainly a hard time for Greg and even Colleen as they had been so much a part of each other’s lives. Her death did not stop Greg from visiting Red Robin every single day.
Greg Is Still A Regular
For most, it might get a little hard to visit the place you went to as a couple after your partner is gone, but that was not the case for Greg. He gives his reason saying, “Colleen, instead of just being an employee of the restaurant, was like a friend to us.” The waitress also managed to hold a beautiful event in honor of her late loyal customer Fran.
