Bad And Good Tips
At certain workplaces like the one where David works, it is fairly common for customers to leave tips. If the waiters or waitresses do an exceptionally good job serving, generous customers would often reward them with a hefty tip. It does not come as a surprise when good servers receive great tips, average tips, or ever useless tips. David also had his fair share of the good and the bad customers.
What A Coincide
We must remember that most waiters actually live on these tips that customers leave them. The tips that we leave these servers are actually used by them to pay their rent, their utilities, and the food they eat themselves and also their family. But Steffen Berr was planning on doing something when he was sitting there in the patio where Davis was busy serving a multitude of customers.
A Packed Patio
Since it was the start of the weekend, the number of customers that showed up that night was quite impressive. In fact, there were so many customers that it left David a little overworked. And it was not getting any better since the evening got even more hectic with each passing time. David was bombarded with orders that he even became unsure whether he got his orders correctly…
A Patient Customer
David was doing his best in handling the overcrowded restaurant and orders by himself that night. For a waiter to be handling that amount of customers, it was impossible to get everything right. The hardworking waiter was not aware that there was someone keeping an eye on his every move that night. Berr was enjoying his food and waited for the time David would approach him.
Asking For The Bill
As any other customer would, Berr first enjoyed what he had ordered in the restaurant. After finishing his meal, he went ahead and requested to receive the check for his meal. David was quick to walk over to him and handed the bill to him. Since the crowd was a lot that night, David immediately went to attend another customer. There was another table full of guests waiting for him to serve.
Finishing With The Bills
When the waiter went and gave the bill to Berr, he immediately went to another table of customers. However, David was well aware that he would have to close the stranger’s bill so that he can leave as soon as possible. We all know how frustrating it gets when you have to wait for your change from the bill you pay. He quickly went to the other customers so that he could finish with Berr’s bill.
