An Odd Incident
So who is this waiter who was busy taking orders on the patio? It is a 31-year-old guy named David Fabila. He worked as a server at a restaurant in Roseville. He is a resident of Sacramento, California. Since he was a father of 3 and was in desperate need to keep this job to be able to support his family. He had been working there for quite a while now but had never experienced such an odd incident like the one he went through that particular Friday evening. It was something strange that had happened there while he was trying to do his job well serving every customer there. The restaurant as we had mentioned, was quite full, and David had a lot of orders to serve. Thing soon turned weird at the restaurant…
The Mysterious Guy
So who was the mystery man who had been keeping an eye on the stressed out waiter that night ? Well, he was a guy named Steffen Berr. He was one of the customers that sat at one of the tables outside on the patio. David Fabila was working alone so he was already packed with other orders from the patrons sitting there too. David did not see Berr sitting there initially.
A Patient Customer
David was doing his best in handling the overcrowded restaurant and orders by himself that night. For a waiter to be handling that amount of customers, it was impossible to get everything right. The hardworking waiter was not aware that there was someone keeping an eye on his every move that night. Berr was enjoying his food and waited for the time David would approach him.
Getting A Shock
If ever you have eaten at a restaurant, you would be aware of how the payment is done. Majority of customers would pay their bills using a credit card or would sit to get their change back. However, this does not always happen every time. So when Berr was no longer there, David was a little shocked but did not think much of it. Just then, when David saw the bill, his mouth flew open…
A Miscommunication Perhaps?
Since this was a very odd occurrence, it would have left any other waiter or waitress puzzled to be left like this. So David was guessing that the stranger had committed some sort of mistake when this took place. He could not believe what was in front of his eyes, so he checked the bill a couple of times. Since Berr had already left, something inside him told him to chase the stranger.
