SakshiFriendship Means So Much
After the party got over, Maroney and LeShay talked to the press. The duo interacted with WXXV an NBC affiliated local TV station. LeShay spoke about Maroney, “He means a lot to me. He’s more like a family member than a friend.” Maroney expressed his love for her by saying, “if she needed a heart or a lung, I would give it to her. That’s how important her hug and her family is to me.”
Future Plans
LeShay is thinking of pursuing a career in the military. However, she is yet to decide the field. As far as Maroney is concerned he is extremely proud of LeShay’s decision. He explained “I am proud of her no matter what she does and will support her in everything she does. I think she understands service and I believe that she will do great things no matter what she chooses.”
Continues To Help Others
Maroney has a lot of expectations from LeShay. Due to a severe injury, he had to quit the military. However, he continued serving the nation by providing training to the military aspirant. He explained “life in service to the planet is important whether serving in the military or as a teacher, nurse or volunteer. Service makes life that much more appreciated.”
A Look-Back
Maroney reminisces “I’ve rescued a lot of people, but there have also been a lot of people I couldn’t rescue. Life sometimes gets dark, knowing there are good people who love life and are happy, the resiliency that she had has been a strength for me.”
