The hospital was looking for more staff who could suffice the need for nurse aides. And amongst the scheduled interviews one profile was of a woman named Meagan Hughes. Her resume was really appreciated and Matt Nelms the head hired her. With her hiring, something strange happened.
Under Training
Meagan was under the charge of O’Brien for training. This meant that both of them shared the same shift timings on the same floor. O’ Brien recalls how hard working Meagan was and how quickly she grasped everything at work. And one day this happens…
Rapport Formation
While working under her senior for almost five months, Meagan and O’Brien formed a rapport. The two could talk non stop and about anything. It was very strange to both of them. And while on duty the duo started to share about their lives where they discovered something unbelievable about one another.
Me Too
One day at work, O’Brien asked Meagan if she too belonged to Korea. As she too had facial features particular to the people of that region. What Meagan said next was something O’ Brien took too long to digest.
Something More
Meagan told O’ Brien that her roots are from South Korea. Her father was a resident of that place but later she was grown up in an orphanage. Where a family from New York adopted her. O’ Brien was surprised to know that her coworker to lived in an orphanage home just like her. Now she wanted to know which orphanage was it.
What A Surprise
It was the same orphan home where O’ Brien lived. When Meagan came to know this she was shocked. O’ Brien was 46 years in age and Meagan was 44. With this, they both started to share things about oneself to see if they have anything more in common. What they found was unbelievable, something no less than a dream.
