Continuing To Look For Remy
So after the first day ended, it was another day for the crowd of volunteers to come together in the cornfield for another day of searching. They began to search for the little girl again, calling her and asking for her. Timber’s brother named Quinlin took his care from Kentucky to Missouri so that he could help locate Remy. Timber then revealed a weird fact about the corn field.
Harmful Corn Field
“The corn fields are like razor blades, cutting you, especially for a child,” she revealed. So this could turn out to be truly dangerous for the health of the toddler. Who knows? She might have gotten cut from running around in the field all day right? So Quinlin went through the field to look for his darling niece and did not want to lose hope. He then heard a loud bark from nearby.
A Quiet Bark
Since he did not want to let any sound out, Quinlin had to stop himself from walking. He tried once more to hopefully get a response from Remy and shouted out her name. As soon as he did that he heard a very timid bark come from very close by. Since the sound of the barking was a little too low, he could not tell where the source was coming from.
Falling Over
He then decided that it would be better if he rushed towards the source of this noise. He thought it might be better if he tried going towards the origin of the bark. He hurriedly stormed through the corn field, brushing the stalks away from himself to avoid cuts. And he was in such a hurry that he ended up falling to the ground during all this.
A Surprising Sight
As he walked into the field, about 30 minutes had passed by. He could not believe his eyes when he was that there was Remy resting on the ground, not moving at all. She must have crawled and walked throughout the night so her whole body was covered in dirt. She had leaves and dust on her hair plus her pants were covered in mud too.
Not Awake
There was another surprising thing that the dear uncle discovered. Right beside little Remy was faithful old Fat Heath sitting as if he was guarding her. Quinlin quickly took her off of the ground where they had made a bed of some sort out of leaves. Fat Heath was right behind Quinlin as they tried going back home. Remy was not awake and so Quinlin was very scared…
