Never Felt Like Twins

They stopped wearing same outfits. They never looked same so there was no point to make them wear identical clothes. Lucy clarifies “We don’t look alike. So why should we have to wear the exact same thing?” She also said that due to their glaring differences they never felt like twins. In this picture, the girls are 18 years old. Can you now tell that they are twins or even sisters? Just like their looks their fashion sense is different too. Whereas Lucy likes keeping her hair straight, Maria proudly flaunts her curly hair. However, they both like putting on makeup. To add further to their different style statements. You can see Lucy wearing dark, edgy looks from time to time. She loves flaunting her piercing too. On the other hand, Maria likes the sophisticated look. She can be found wearing street style form cloths.

Lucy Is Shy And Maria Is Extrovert

Lucy and Maria have completely different personalities too. Maria is outgoing and extrovert whereas Lucy is introvert by nature and prefers staying at home. According to Maria “I love meeting people, I’m not scared to approach people.” The shy Lucy too had a point to make she stated: “I’m terrified of going up to random strangers.” Have you seen any twins sharing so much dissimilarity? Lucy explains “I think if we’d looked similar or even identical, then the bond between us would have been stronger when we were younger” she added further “But Maria and I had such different personalities, too. She was the outgoing twin whilst I was the shy one.”

Why So Different In Styling?

The girls consider their non-identical physical feature responsible for their differences in styling sense and personality. They believed had they shared similar physical outlook they perhaps would have more in common. Despite their not so common personalities, they are each other’s best friends. They opened up about their deepening relationship “Now we have grown older, even though we still look so different, the bond between us is much stronger.” They are perfectly fine with their differences and are enjoying the attention of the whole world.

 Not Easy To Convince

Many times, they have faced difficulty in making others believe that they are related, let alone twins. Lucy said, “Most twins look like two peas in a pod – but we couldn’t look more different if we tried.” she continues “We don’t look like we have the same parents, let alone having been born at the same time.” Even their friends refused to believe that they are twins. Maria narrates a story when their friend watched the interview and asked her if they truly are twins. She told the reaction of her friend to Inside Edition ” You’re really a twin? That’s really your sister?” However, her friend did not believe.

Academic Differences

They are pursuing their graduation in different courses. Whereas Maria is studying law at Cheltenham College, Lucy is pursuing her art degree from Gloucester College. Lucy said, “Maria loves telling people at college that she has a white twin – and I’m very proud of having a black twin,”. They are more than happy to describe their story to others. In order to prove their relation, the twins had to do many strange things. Lucy talks about one of those bizarre incidents. She said “No one ever believes we’re twins, even when we dress alike, we still don’t look like sisters, let alone twins. Friends have even made us produce our birth certificates to prove it.” Have you ever heard of an incident like this before?  These two girls are different in every possible way but are too fond of each other. They do surprise people with their story but also endear themselves to them with their spiriting attitude. Both of them owns great looks, a lean and curvaceous body. They have made a very strong bond with each other that will continue to grow stronger with the time.
