The Lucky Child
The toddler came out alive but was in tremendous pain because of the fall. His spine had been fractured but lucky for him there were medical teams on standby to look into it. There was an emergency helicopter that could take him in case his injury was serious. He ended up recovering quickly. His dad was overjoyed and stated, “I thank God and all those who helped. I thank Christ all my life, as I live, I do not know if I can thank him for what he did for me and my baby.”
A National Hero Honored
Cristina was titled the “Hero of Segarcea” after saving the little boy from the well. He was now a national hero with his story reaching many national outlets. He was also given an award by the Romanian government. Cristian got his award with the other brave firefighters and police that helped to rescue the toddler trapped in the 15 meter deep well.
