There was yet another question that was there in everyone’s mind during all of this. Cristian was quick to point out that the little boy obviously looked very scared and afraid when he got down there. Cristian held his hands out to hold the boy but due to limited air and hot temperature, his hands were very slippery. There was a point where he thought he had even dropped him. But in the end, he was able to hold him tightly. Cristian even said,“I had a good grip on him”. Cristian then needed to give a signal to the people outside that they were ready to be pulled up.

Ready To Leave The Well

When he knew that he had a tight grip on the boy, Cristian gave the rescuers above the signal. “I shook my feet twice for them to take me out, and I grabbed him by the hand and took him out,” he revealed to interviewers. The crew outside pulled up the roped attached to Cristian’s feet and waist until the two of them were out in the fresh air once again.
