Fortunately, the police arrived at the scene shortly after. The boys had already informed the police before chasing the man. The reason why they got into the fight with the man was to make him stay till the police come. Their plan had succeeded. The man was finally in the clutch of police.
Nabbing Him
The cops immediately took the charge. They handcuffed the man and pushed him inside the police van. Thanks to the boys, the culprit got punished for what he did. Thereafter the boys made their way to the parking lot where the young girl and their friend were waiting for them.
Getting Justice
Though the girl was still not over the plight, she was happy that her culprit was finally behind the bar. Police sent her back to her family who themselves had been searching for her. Had the boys not came forward to help the girl, the culprit would have been walking out freely in the society hunting for his another victim. But the ordeal of boys was still not over.
Avoiding Calls
Despite showing the utmost bravery in catching the culprit, the boys could not dare to answer repeated phone calls from the police. They feared that they too would be arrested for getting involved in a fight. However, they knew that they can’t avoid their calls forever. They finally picked the phone after mustering all the courage they had.
A Bad News?
Well, the police did give them a news but that was not bad at all. In fact, it was one of the best news they could hear. The police wanted to thank them for helping them in detecting and catching the culprit. Their selfless contribution had made a big difference in the girl’s lives.
Reward Time
The bravery of boys definitely deserved a reward. So, they got an invitation to the Calgary Police Chief’s Awards Gala. They were the highlight of the celebration. The boys were appreciated for their bravery but the boys showed modesty and said anyone at their place would have chosen the same way out.
