So, they tried to get rid of this feeling but it persisted. It was getting difficult for them to ignore it anymore. Therefore, they decided to go back to the parking lot to check if the girl was doing okay. They hadn’t come very far from the lot so going back there was not going to take much time.
Searching For Them
In a few minutes, they were back in the Chinook Centre parking lot. The lot was empty as usual. They tried looking for the pair but unfortunately, they could not find them. There was an eerie silence in the lot. Now their worries increased. Had they actually made a mistake by letting the man go with the girl? Was the young girl in a danger.
Where Were They?
But on the other side, they also thought of the possibility of the man taking her to her home. Perhaps they were over thinking. Who would stay so late in the parking lot? But the feeling of uneasiness was still in the air.
Continue Searching
Keeping all the reasons aside, they began looking for the pair in the vast parking lot. They checked every nook and corner despite knowing that it was too late. Even if the man was lying, he would have taken the girl far from this place.
Stairwell
Nevertheless, they continued searching. As the boys had been daily visitors, they were well acquainted with every corner of the space. They had searched everywhere except one place that had escaped their mind before. One of them suggested looking there also. They headed to the stairwell only to behold a sight that was going to haunt them all their life.
Unexpected Sight
The boys had made the right decision. The man and the girl were right there. The boys had their blood crawl when they found them in an unexpected situation. The girl was lying unconscious whereas the man was on top of her. He had placed his hand over her mouth in order to prevent her from screaming. The boys could not understand what to do.
