Tayler Gillespie, Bingham High School, Utah has to go home disappointed when she was supposed to dance at her prom night and Taylor wasn’t the only one, many others had to leave as according to the dress code, the back and the armpits should be covered.

Kylee Opper, Shelton High School, Connecticut got two of her dresses rejected under the name of dress code. As per their new dress code, bare midriffs, halter tops, tube tops, strapless tops, see-through lace tops, spaghetti strap tank tops, and short skirts were a no-no. Many students showed their disagreement to the school by not attending the prom night as they weren’t interested in wearing under so many obligations…

Prom night is a significant event and teens should have their one night to themselves. And knowing the importance of this one in a lifetime event, even the organizers should be there to have fun not to be teachers all the time. But that’s our say we would love to know your point of view too!!
