Keep It Down
Both Resnick and Paolo were aware of the common agreement that they weren’t supposed to make any noise. After silently checking the whole floor as they were about to head upstairs, they heard a sound of something falling on the first floor. They knew they had to be alert as something was definitely wrong with the place.
Slowly And Steadily
Slowly and steadily the pair of cops moved upstairs and shocked to see what was awaiting them. Everything started making sense, the garbage, the noise, the following and the terror too. How everything can change instantly was the only thing that one could understand from it.
A Pregnant Lady
The moment the cops reached upstairs, they saw a pregnant woman there. She was living in the forgotten house from past few days as the winter approached. That place wasn’t compatible with that kind of weather. Soon the cops were about to realize that she wasn’t alone.
The Inside
There was no arrangement for heat or water or electricity. There were broken pieces of glasses on the floor. There was nothing in the house to eat or to cook. Seeing the whole scene, the cops started talking to this pregnant lady and soon they realized the seriousness of the situation.
Nowhere To Go
The woman was having some really bad days. She was fired from her job for the actions that weren’t even hers. As she didn’t pay the house rent for the last two months, the landlord had asked her to leave. Officer Paolo was still talking to the woman while Officer Resnick was examining the rest of the rooms and as he pulled the sheets off an old mattress, he understood that he wasn’t the only person in the room.
It Moved!
It was a pretty old torn up mattress that was completely covered with sheets. And the moment he removed the sheet, something moved. You won’t believe what he found under the sheets and whatever took place afterward was magical.
