The locals, as well as the government, felt the need of a reform school for the young population. That’s when it was built; Arthur G. Dozier School, Marianna, Florida. Reform schools are made to serve the motive of reforming juvenile delinquents in a safe environment. A fenceless area that was working systematically for 3 years or so just like other reform schools but there was something about Dozier School that was going to make it a mysterious place for everyone who knew of it.

For the next few decades, the dark tales about Dozier School spread farther and the real conditions inside the school were getting worse. After 3 years of working normally, the Dozier School’s rumors started to spread like wildfire. People used to talk about the hard life that boys were living. It was in the 1970s that one story was heard more than the rest before. Also, it was taken more seriously than all the previous rumors.
No Escape
Although the place was fenceless for more than half of the period of its existence. The reform school was always prepared for such emergencies. They had a lot of resources to go behind the students. The exact history of this place can never be revealed as not all the details were made available. Dozier School has always been one interesting place for the researchers’ team but they were never permitted by the State government until a few months back. Now that they were allowed, the discoveries made inside the Dozier’s School. 
A Forensic Anthropologist
It was after the school was permanently closed and the rumors were still in the air that Erin Kimmerle, a forensic anthropologist, also a professor at the University of South Florida. He wanted to know the truth behind this place. He was quite determined as he wanted to bring all the rumors to end once and for all. 
The Conclusion
The place we told you about has been a controversial one for over 100 years now. Since the day it was completed, it has been an intriguing and hurting topic of discussion. People always wanted to know about it, everybody has heard of stories about it but nobody knew what actually went inside that area. People who worked for human rights tried to investigate but for decades the place kept working and the hideous work kept going on.
