This powerful sense of empathy or sympathy that we have for our fellow human beings is something that makes us even more special than other living beings. This brave boy did not let his fears take over him and he actually risked his life to save others. See the video at the end of this article to get a detailed look.
Back in 2013, in the month of April, there was an unfortunate incident that took place in the village called Segarcea. This is located in Dolj County, Romania. There was a guy named Cristian, who accidentally fell into a deep well in the city. Later, Cristian was being praised for his bravery and efficiency. After the rescue, the team helped Cristian out of his rescue gear and he was now back on his feet once again.
Beaming A Smile
Even though it was an incredibly long and stressful task, he was successful. The team took him off the harnesses and it was clear he did not think much of it. Cristian, in fact, gave a smile and looked around in awe as the massive crowd that had formed above. As soon as he came out, he waved to the people assuring them that he was fine. Everyone wanted to know how the well was inside?
Behind The Bravery
After the brave man had completed his mission and was back on safe ground, the people who had gathered wanted to ask him many questions. The was a lot of emotion that ran across the crown and even Cristina was quite emotional too. The family and friends were giving him hugs and kisses on the cheek to show their gratitude for risking his life to save the guy.
Overflowing Gratitude
Right after he had rescued the boy, Cristian was given an overwhelming amount of love and affection. It was definitely a little chaotic and heavy for him so he really needed to breathe. He took his time to catch his breath and spent some time away from all the commotion. As soon as he calmed himself down, he was ready to reveal how it felt like inside the narrow well.
Skilled Guy
Everybody was so impressed by how helpful and fearless Cristian was. And indeed he was a very brave boy. How could this young man be so skilled and helpful, doing the work of professional rescuers at such a young age? What was the reason for him agreeing to do the risky task that even the firefighters did not dare to attempt?
A Big Dream
Cristian was still very excited and a little out of breath when he told his reasons to an interviewer. The young man had always been keen on taking up a career as a professional rescuer someday in the future. Cristian wanted to help as soon as he heard about the boy’s unfortunate fate of falling inside a well. He was willing to risk his life for him too.
Cristina was titled the “Hero of Segarcea” after saving the little boy from the well. He was now a national hero with his story reaching many national outlets. He was also given an award by the Romanian government.
