She again took another trip to California and she was arrested in Malibu. She was sent to New York and forced, “to face six counts of grand larceny and attempted grand larceny, in addition to theft of services.”
The Truth
Anna was in Rikers Island jail with no bails allowed. A trial is yet to take process while she is to serve a three to nine years in prison. She was lying about everything even her name. Her real name is Anna Sorokin, born in 1991. Her family shifted to Germany in 2007. She is from a middle-class family and her family never heard of any of the assets that she said are located outside the U.S. In short, everything she said never existed.

A Netflix series is in making on her life. She seemed to be quite fascinated by the idea of the movie as she requested that her favorite actress should play her role in the series. She is never seemed to be worrying or feeling guilty about all that she has done.
“This place is not that bad at all actually. People seem to think it’s horrible, but I see it as like, this sociological experiment,” she said in an interview about her experience in jail. Anna Sorokin scammed many banks and hotels for over an amount of $275,000. The girl was using fraudulent documents to get loans from the U.S. banks. The documents stated a huge amount of money in her European banks. She was planning to pay all these bills once her business gets to earn profit but as you know that never happened.
