The Last Breath
Jerry and Rita had every luxurious item one family could think of. However, it was difficult to figure out how a teacher afforded this luxury. They were leading a very good life until 2012. Jerry gave up his soul in 2012. He was 81 years old when he died leaving behind his kids and wife. Though the kids had moved out the couple was still residing in that small town.
Putting Things In Light
Five years after the death of Jerry, Rita too passed away. The house and the secret that they had guarded for so many years was now all of a sudden unguarded. Ron Roseman was the in charge of all the estate and assets of the Alters. Ron had no idea about their relative’s mysterious nature and the secret lurking inside their house. He decided to put the house on sale. But before that, he decided to do something that led to the demystification of a long-held secret.
Weird And Old
Ron had made up his mind. He was going to sell the house along with its assets. The couple’s house was replete with weird and antiquated objects. He did not know how much do they cost or if they have any worth or not in the first place. So before putting them on sale, he called some antique dealers to take a look.
Checking That Up
This all happened just after a month of Rita’s death. Ron would never have imagined what an astounding secret he was going to reveal. A number of antique dealers came to Alter’s house to find out goods of any worth. They checked the hall, basement, bathroom but there was nothing significant. However, all of them were amazed at Alter’s collection of hardly seen items. Lastly, one of them named David Van Auker turned to their bedroom.
David Van Auker
David Van Auker is an antique dealer residing in the nearby town of Silver City. He has a vast knowledge in the field of antiquated items. That is why Ron invited him to see the content of the house. Well, David too did not know he was in for a great surprise.
Luxurious Bedroom
The bedroom was well maintained. In fact, there was hardly any modern thing that was not there in the bedroom. No one could ever figure out how they used to do that. Even the antique dealer was surprised at seeing a teacher having such a luxurious life. But what he found next plunged him into a big dilemma.
