Nurith NupurDiana Muldaur as Dr. Katherine Pulaski
The makers didn’t renew this actors contract after the first run of the Next Generation, and subsequently, the character of Dr. Beverly Crusher was mysteriously disappeared and was replaced by Dr. Pulaski. To this day no one knows what happened to the character and where it went but the actors playing the role went onto have an amazing career in L.A. Law.
Majel Barrett as Christine Chapel
Majel Barrett had to bleach her hair for the role of Christine Chapel, though it was originally unwanted, The success of this actress would later have the creators write off the role of Grace Lee. She played the role of the trusty nurse who can often be seen by the side of Bones. Barrett later married a Gene Roddenberry, a show creator.
Majel Barrett as Lwaxana Troi
Majel Barett returned to the franchise once again after almost 20 years after it ended to play the role of Lwaxana Troi, Deanna’s annoying and chatty mother. She appeared in eight episodes on The Next Generation, and for three more on Deep Space Nine. Her character appeared to woo Captain Piccard.
Terry Farrell as Jadzia Dax
The very first significant role Terry Farrell played was that of Jadzia Dax in Deep Space Nine. This character was a trusty friend of Captain Benjamin Sisko and also the chief science officer. It was seen in the 6th season that this character married Worf only to be killed off in the later episodes. She later made appearance in the hit show Becker where she played the role of the owner of the diner
Michelle Forbes as Ensign Ro Laren
Ro Laren can possibly be called the strongest female character during the 5th season of The Next Generation’s run. She brought the role of Michelle Forbes to life in this amazing series and her character was a Bajoran who lost everything before she enlisted in Starfleet. She didn’t become a part of the main cast by her own wishes and later went on to do perform in several other tv shows and movies.
Nana Visitor as Major Kira Nerys
This was a really strong and independent female lead in the universe of star trek. This character was born in a Cardassian labor camp and was a freedom fighter. She was also the acting security officer of the Deep Space Nine’s ship. In the later parts of the series, she can be seen developing a romantic relationship with shapeshifting Odo.
