Warrick Brown was one of the most popular characters on the show and starred in nearly every episode until his character’s death in the first episode of season nine, shocking audiences. Gary Dourdan played his part perfectly and was well remembered for his on-screen chemistry with other main characters such as a Catherine Willows.

Gary Dourdan’s career never really took off since CSI. Ironically, he has had a few run-ins with the law and was even arrested for possession of illegal substances. He had also been entangled in a string of domestic incidents regarding his girlfriend. Things only got worse, when in 2012, Dourdan filed for bankruptcy, as it was reported that he owed about $1.7 million to creditors.
Elisabeth Shue As Julie Finlay – Then
After the departure of Marg Helgenberger, Elisabeth Shue was introduced to fill in her spot. Shue has had a colorful career prior to the series, with movies such as ‘Leaving Las Vegas’, ‘Palmetto’, and more famously, ‘Hollow Man’, under her belt. She came as a recurring character in the show for four consecutive seasons from 2012 to 2015.

Despite appearing in no less 71 episodes, she didn’t make the cut for the final episode of CSI. After the show, she still continued acting, which was secondary to her main priority of kids and family.
Wallace Langham As David Hodges – Then
Wallace Langham played the role of techie David Hodges, the one who was always bursting with a little too much information. From season 3, up till 7, he was a recurring character but became a series regular after receiving much praise for his well-received performances.

Apart from appearing in a staggering 250 episode of CSI, Langham has also made appearances on a number of successful television shows. He has made guest appearances on popular shows such as ‘Scream Queens’, ‘Mike & Molly’, and ‘iZombie.’ And CSI wasn’t his only crime-driven show, he also guest-starred on ‘Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.’
