Chaotic Calmness
It would not have been much time that Risdon and Gibson would have sat down when Risdon’s eyes were attracted to something unknown. He was tired and almost sleepy. Initially, he thought he was hallucinating. But soon only, he realized that there is something strange at the door. What was coming?
The Approaching Shadow
Risdon alertly gazed at the door. Though he was extremely tired and such weather made him a little cozy, he knew his eyes are not frauding him. A soldier’s eye can never mistake a strange happening. As the mysterious figures came closer towards the door, their shadows became a little darker. For some unknown reason, the soldier could smell suspicion.
Always Alert
As a part of training and quite obvious of a soldier’s nature, Risdon was taught to be alert all the time. It was a very crucial part of an army officer’s training. His training was so strict and disciplined that even in the natural and calm atmosphere he would remain cautious of his surroundings. And since everything didn’t seem fine then, it was more apparent for Risdon to act vigilantly.
Two Intruders
Risdon’s eyes were frozen at the door. He did not even blink until he made sure who was there at the outlet at this odd hour. As the shadows progressed, two dark figures nearing him. He did not expect that there would be two intruders. For an instant, everything stood still. What was happening there?
Breaking The Ice
The two intruders entered the Taco Bell in a manner that caught everyone’s eyes. For a moment, some of the staff members froze at their counters, while a customer at the corner table stared at them forgetting about his bite. Each head in the food outlet turned to know the incognito. Who were they?
Intriguing Beings
Somehow everyone wanted to know the real identity of these strangers. Why was everyone so curious about them? Who were they? What was so strange about them that grabbed all attention? Were they carrying any sought of arms with them? Or was it that they seemed more like burglars?
