Xuewei was with her grandfather and stood there by his side every day. She was feeding him and taking good care of his every whim. But deep down she felt like she could do something else. She felt like there was room for something more. Xuewie wanted to help fulfill her granddad’s life’s dreams. His dream was to see her walk down the aisle before he passed.
What Was His Dream?
There was still one huge problem though. And what might that be you ask? Well, even though her granddad wished for his baby girl to get married, she didn’t have a boyfriend. She was certainly not ready nor was she planning on getting married anytime soon. But she did not want this to get in the way of making her grandfather happy as she had been informed that he has little time left.
Coming Up With A Secret Plan
As for the hard working granddaughter Xuewei, the main focus for her personal life at the time was to excel in her career. She had worked so hard in college to build her career so she was not willing to slow down just yet. And also she was unsure whether her grandfather would live long enough to see that she had found “the one” and get hitched.
Fulfilling Grandpa’s Wishes
Since her own choices were clashing with the dreams that her granddad for her, Xuewei was at a crossroad. She was not willing to let her own plans ruin her plans of fulfilling his wish, she decided to give a big surprise to her granddad. She knew that this would certainly make Mr. Fu happy. He had suffered health wise so she desperately wanted to perk him up. But she had to hold this a secret.
Not A Mere Photo Shoot
At the beginning of that month, Xuewei had taken her grandfather to the hospital for his medical checkup. It was just like any other check up they went to in the past. But after they reached the hospital, she casually told him, “we’re actually going to take some pictures today.” Still, Mr. Fu did not suspect that anything big would happen and so he just replied okay.
He Finally Realizes
Mr. Fu unaware that his granddaughter had planned something big, went along with everything that she asked him to do. And so, when they finally arrived at the photography studio, with all the IV drip in tow, Xuewei’s grandfather realized what was going on. He understood only then that this wasn’t just a normal photo shoot. So what had Xuewei planned for the day?
