Mr. Fu had now turned 87 years of age. Since he was quite old now, he had suffered from heart complications for a long while. Just two years prior he had also suffered a cerebral stroke which ended up paralyzing his body. He had to be admitted to the hospital where he spent about three months. Xuewei knew her grandfather was becoming frail with every passing day.

Since she knew for sure that her grandfather was in a critical condition, Xuewei did not want to waste any time apart from him. So she decided that leaving his side was clearly not an option.
