after seventy long years, Woman discovers the identity of the mysterious visitor at her brother’s grave!

Surreal Meeting

It took her seventy years to find out the identity of this man. Now she was finally going to meet him. they did not waste much time after shaking heads and led straight to the subject. Ronald explained, “Well, we obviously met at the Scouts. We sort of palled up there and then we all went on this holiday.” What he said after that was what broke Ann heart to pieces.   

How It Happened

Ronaldo recalled the day, “I lost sight of him after a bit because there were so many of us rushing around.” He continued, “There was just Karl’s clothes in a pile where he’d left them, you see…All the kids, most of the kids all ran down to the beach started looking around and found him, you know, a few yards out, face down.” She continued hearing although she knew what was coming ahead. 

Silver Lining

That was the day when Ronald lost his best friend and that was also the day when he realized his goal. The day Karl died, Ronald met the police. He said,  “There was a policeman there and he said, ‘You did very well. Do you know, when you leave school, you ought to go into the police force.’ Which I thought, later on, at 16, I did.” Ronald took up the job of a policeman in order to honor Karl. 

Inspiration

Now the mystery was all cleared. Ann took the sigh of relief as now she knew everything that she ought to know about her brother’s accident. She also felt a sense of proud in the fact that her brother Karl had inspired Ron to become a policeman. This was not the end. She had to face another surprise. 

Another A Doctor

She was yet to overcome this when another person called her and told her that their father decided to be a doctor because of that incident. They did not want any kid of the village to meet the fate that Karl met. No doubt, Karl had inspired a lot of people.    

Karl Inspired Many

Ann was overwhelmed by the response. Now she knew in a true sense how much Karl had impacted the village. Ann expressed her ecstasy by saying, “He’s not even here now, but he’s still touching people.”  “That’s something pretty remarkable, really, isn’t it?” she stated.
