We must know by now that the youngest of the Jackson clan is Janet. She would often come on stage with her elder brothers but showed more interest in an acting career than in music. She became a big child star as Penny on the show “Good Times.” She played the neighbor of the Evans family who was always fearful and scared. She also appeared on “Fame” and “Diff’rent Strokes,” while still maintaining a singing career… AT THAT AGE!

Janet Jackson went on to become the second most successful Jackson sibling after Michael of course. She is one of the most celebrated and respected performers of all time with multi-platinum albums, hit films and sold out shows. She recently separated from her billionaire husband Wissam Al Mana. She recently went on tour after a long while and obviously still rocks the crowd as always.
Johnny Whitaker – Then
As a child, John starred in several shows like “Family Affair” to “General Hospital.” He even gave Jodie Foster her first ever on-screen kiss in the film Tom Sawyer. After the death of his good friend Anissa Jones, he went through a difficult phase and it affected his well being a lot. She played his on-screen sister on the show “Family Affair.” He stopped acting completely for a long period of time.
Johnny Whitaker – Now
After seeing that he has been going through a tough time with his substance abuse, Johnny’s close friends and family held an intervention for him. After forcing him, he had to go through a twelve-step program. After this, he is now 12 years clean and going strong. There is an impressive talent that Johnny posses. He speaks fluent Spanish, Portuguese, and the French and American Sign Language.
Kim Richards – Then
Kim could definitely be considered as one of the most popular child stars of the 70s because she managed to get many roles on several hit TV shows. Her string of hit show includes “Nanny and the Professor” and “James at Sixteen” to major hits like Escape to Witch Mountain and the sequel Return from Witch Mountain. She was everywhere and no one could get enough of her.
Kim Richards – Now
After joining the cast of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills”, Kim came back to the public eye in 2010. She stars on the hit reality TV show along with her sister, Kyle. Rumors started swirling that she may have a drug problem due to her weird character in front of the camera. She was arrested for trespassing, public intoxication, resisting an officer, and battery on a police officer back in 2015. She was fired from the show and is an occasional guest star.
