NathanOne Year Anniversary
There is an adorable picture of the dogs that was posted on their Facebook page. The caption read, “It’s our 1 year anniversary!!!! We celebrated Merrill & Taco’s big day with a walk with friends. From left to right… Jack, Boo, Kim, Tigger, Merrill, Me & Taco. Kim is the one who posted the pic from Rocket Dog that got this whole ball rolling. Thanks, Kim! It’s been a great year. We love them!!!”
True Love Story
It is good to note that the two dogs are completely different in the way they look. Their physical appearance is completely different from each other. Their bond is stronger than just their appearance. Rocket Dog Rescue took them in but no one knows the extent of abuse they may have faced before.
Mission Accomplished
The shelter shared their happiness with the pair and posted a picture. The caption was,” Merrill & Taco are doing wonderfully in their forever home. They are enjoying hanging out by the fire snuggling up after a long, fun filled day.” The two would never be seen doing things alone.
A Growing Group
The dog pair has even made new friends and did not just stick to themselves. One pooch they befriended was PJ. ON March 12, 2018, a post was updated of Merrill “having a play date at [PJ’s] house. Getting in some turning and burning before the rain comes.” It left some people wondering what Taco was up to.
Taco the Chiller
Taco and Merrill have slowly learned to trust each other allowing sometime apart these days. Taco is not interested in having ‘play dates’ but Merrill is still open for this kind of fun. When the question of where Taco is was asked, the owner responded saying “this is no place for him. He’d get creamed…This is like Clash of the Titans stuff. Only for the fast, strong, and, really hard headed.”
Scrub A Dub
Here we have the two spending some quality time at the dog spa. The pair was enjoying a nice time until the time came for them to take a bath. “Can’t say they love bath time but they enjoyed the walk there and back,” was written under the photo. “And the cookie they got afterwards.”
