Taco was not about to let his young and vivacious dog partner have all the fun despite his condition. He still manages to play around and have fun with the family and Merrill. On November 2014, the amazing pair got adopted to this home. They now have a Facebook page where their everyday activities are updated.
The Facebook Page
The family set up the Facebook page called Merrill & Taco to showcase the dog best friend’s everyday adventures and cute moments. These pictures that the anonymous family decided to share are indeed precious and adorable. They still hate getting separated from each other.
Crazy Antics
Merrill now enjoys playing around and running about, getting taken care of by the loving family who offers her love and affection. Since Taco cannot run as fast and is not as energetic as he used to, he can only enjoy getting carried by the humans wherever Merrill goes. They were happy to be together still.
Carried Around Like a Baby
Taco loves to be taken care of like a baby. He loves to hide under his owner’s t-shirts and lie on their laps while Merrill hovers on the ground. Merrill maintains a friendly aura when she is with Taco and never dominates him. Even though they are different, they are truly compatible.
Cuddle Time
The two love to cuddle up and sleep with their owners every chance they get. They do not care if it happens during the day or at night. They would sleep next to humans in the TV room, the bedroom or outside. There have been multiple pictures that show funny sleeping positions of the two dogs caught by their owners.
Christmas Time
Since their adoption, the two dogs never had to face such a devastating experience of getting abandoned ever again. There have been multiple special incidents that have happened in the house. One of them would definitely be the two dog’s first Christmas in their new home. The family dressed the dogs up in the holiday theme and posted a picture online.
