Wiley was immediately medicated with antibiotics in addition to love and care. No doubt, Wiley was a lucky fellow, as had Nace not spotted him, he would have been bearing his curable diseases all his life that most probably would have shortened his lifespan.
Recovering
Though gradually Wiley was recuperating! Soon he became healthy and active, thanks to the devotion of the rescuers. The pup was now fit and fine. Now the team thought of taking next step.
Finding Home
Now, was the time for the team to take another step. They began searching for his home. It was clear that the dog was not living with coyotes since his birth which means that he must be residing somewhere before coming into contact with coyotes. The team decided to find out his former home. It was vague but nevertheless, they decided to do this.
Inspection
They began by inspecting the dog if he had any microchip inserted into his body, there was none. Then they went through all the missing dog reports but there also they found no luck. Lastly, they looked for any kind of identification but there also they failed to find out any relevant information.
Failed Attempts
Despite rescue team’s efforts to find out Wiley’s previous home, they could not reach to a favorable conclusion. They were still clueless and now tired. After failed and exhausting attempt they decided to find Wiley a new home.
Still Searching
Asher talked about the efforts they made, she says “We don’t know if he’s someone’s lost pet; we’ve been scouring the internet, calling the local authorities.” She continued “there’ve been no reports of lost dogs fitting his description. We think he was either a stray or dumped.”
