Doubtful Of Strangers
It is difficult to say how this dog befriended coyotes. As coyotes do not trust strangers easily. They are fierce and dangerous when encountered by intruders. It takes them a lot of time to accept a new member. So one thing was clear that the pooch had made a great impression on the coyotes that made them welcome him to their pack so easily.
Common
It was apparent that the dog shared many common habits with coyotes. He was having a great influence of coyotes on him and had started behaving like them. However, no matter how happy and comfortable the dog looked in the group of coyotes, it was clear that he did not have a safe future with them. After few days of scrutinizing, Buddha Dog Rescue & Recovery took another step. They began to plan the rescue of the dog. But was it easy? Well, the answer is hell no, check out on the next slide.
Sharing
Drawing out a plan was not an easy thing. The dog used to spend his whole time with coyotes. He used to run with them, eat with them, and play with them. In order to catch him, it was necessary to separate the dog from the pack. What the organization did next would surely make you dumbstruck.
Buddha Dog Rescue & Recovery
Buddha Dog Rescue & Recovery is a shelter devoted to dogs. Here also the shelter wanted to have a bright future for this pup along with some belly rubs and proper meals provided to him on daily basis. Asher has always been enamored with the dogs so when she saw the pathetic condition of this pup she couldn’t help but commit herself to help the dog. It was only her commitment that enabled her to come up with a mind-blowing idea.
Strategy
Asher formulated a perfect idea. Firstly, she needed to have the stray doggo come to a certain spot frequently, She clarified “the first thing we needed to do was get the dog constantly coming back to a certain spot.” She said, “We set up a feeding station monitored by a trail camera.” After some futile attempt, the dog finally appeared at the spot and begun to gorge over the bait.
Continuous Efforts
Asher knew it was going to be difficult but she continued trying anyway. They kept putting food at a particular place for some time so that, the dog would get familiar with the spot. Efforts bore fruit and the starving dog began to frequent the spot for food. Now it was time for Asher to take another step.
