This underrated warfighter has its share of contribution to the World War I, they were used as the help dogs thanks to their image as the ideal working dog. There they used to deliver messages to British headquarters. They are not just outgoing, intelligent, and confident, but are also playful by nature. They are considered one of the most loyal breeds out there.

The duty included chasing the hungry birds and sheep out of their master’s farm. Shelties were also known as humble and reliable herding dogs. And lastly, these all qualities made it a good choice for a family companion.
