SukritiFeeling Trapped
Samantha has always been quite close to her mother but this didn’t mean that she was thinking to raise the baby with her. Neither the house was baby proof nor her mother was ready to understand. When her pregnancy was supposed to make her skin glow she seemed paler than ever. Knowing all this stress isn’t good for the baby she tried to get an escape from the frustrating reality of her life.
Escape
Samantha didn’t want her stress to affect her baby in any way. Therefore she got into her old hobby that got her more through rough childhood days. When other people used to play outdoors Samantha always stayed back at home playing online video games. It kept her away from the stress and let her see everything with an ease. She usually played “League of Legends,” her all-time favorite game. Clueless that this simple escape will be redefining her future, she just played to relax.
Unlikely Connection
Samantha developed an interest in video games when she was 15 years old. For her, it has always been an easy escape. Online games give her a chance to get in contact with new people. During all the video gaming days she got to know a guy named Tom. From games to real life, they soon exchanged their numbers and started talking to each other. In the coming months, their conversations only increased to an extent where Tom got to know everything about Samantha’s situation. Chatting and talking wasn’t all, Tom made a weird request that brought Samantha far from her mother’s home all by herself.
A Request
After knowing everything about Samantha and the fact that she is 8 months pregnant, Tom still pleaded with Samantha to come to his place to meet him. They both wanted to see if it was only friendship or they could be more than that. Tom didn’t live a few streets away rather in a different state, North Carolina! Was he even the right guy for her? Or has he planned something devious for the young girl and her unborn baby?
Taking The Plunge
Samantha, after giving it a thought and being fed up with her mother’s arguments decided to give it a shot. She wasn’t sure about it at all but agreed to take the risk. Hence, she decided to visit Tom in North Carolina, hoping this might help get away from her mother’s arguments for a few days. There was a strong connection between Tom and Samantha. The young lady was quite sure that he is the one she has been looking for. The tickets were booked and stuff was packed, Samantha was all set to see her beloved friend, unaware of what lied ahead was a trip much longer than she thought and even more significant.
Missed Connection
In September 2016, Samantha boarded a Delta flight from Arkansas to North Carolina; one more unexpected thing to do. She was exhausted and confused and missed her transfer flight. She couldn’t believe her own stupidity and carelessness. But somewhere she was aware that it wasn’t her fault, an eight-month pregnant girl can do things like that. She was consoling herself but the delay at the airport was increasing her frustration. Luckily, Tom helped her even when he wasn’t there.
