NathanThe Baby Elephant’s Reaction
For any animal, be it a grown one or a baby, it would be terrifying to be chained to a tree. And since the baby elephant did not comprehend the reason behind getting tied up, he obviously got very upset. It was crying and giving out sounds; trying to resist. Since the elephant must be new to human beings, you cannot really blame it for acting like this as it would definitely be scary. However, in a short amount of time, the baby elephant began to understand that the rangers were actually there to help.
New Friends
As time went by the elephant got to understand the true intentions of the rangers. When these group of men started to play around and cheer the little elephant up, it got to know that they were friends and that they were just trying to help it get back to the family. Just then the little elephant started to change its response and became a lot more cooperative and was slowly warming up to the rangers. The baby elephant became so happy and it was blatant from the way it drank the water.
Big Smile!
It was clear the way the little elephant drank his water, that he was extremely thirsty! He sure looked grateful to the rangers who took time off from their duties to give him some water. They did not want the baby elephant to feel parched because after all, they did not know how long it had been there and the heat plus fear might have dried up its poor throat. The rangers were just happy that they could offer some sort of help to the animal that was in desperate need of some assistance. You can tell how excited the little guy is just by looking.
Thirsty Elephant
The little elephant was a bit skeptical to drink the water from the bowl but the rangers moved it towards the bowl anyway. When the elephant got near the bowl, it did not hesitate to start drinking.It drank up the water and showed no signs of slowing down, gulping it down like it had never had a drink of water before. The excitement of the baby elephant was evident because not only did it drink the water, it started playing with it, splashing the water all over.
Having Fun With Water
The baby elephant was having so much fun as it got to splatter the water as much as it wanted to. It was at that moment that the family noticed that it was not with them. They then made their move towards the baby elephant. You can guess that they may have felt a little guilty that they have forgotten their young one. The rangers were not sure if the family was on their way back to get the little one but still released the young elephant in the hopes that they would meet each other.
Letting Him Loose
Would this baby elephant get to find its way back to the beloved family or would get lost once again. The rangers were feeling very anxious but chose not to interfere. The elephant took them by surprise because as soon as the calf was set free, it wasted no time in running toward the family that was slowly walking away.The rangers were so alarmed and became very anxious about all the things that was happening there. Then another amazing thing happened right after.
