One thing that can aptly describe this cake is that it is a complete and utter FAIL. The overzealous 49ers fan must have received this cake and ended up shattered. They clearly wanted the cake to look like a foam finger making a number one but the cake ended up with six fingers. If you take a look at it, you can tell that this finger looks to be making an obscene gesture. Since the 49ers have not been able to win a Super Bowl championship since 1994, this cake is a no go…
A Sweet Mistake
This is again a good example that sometimes the decorators can turn out to be a little unprofessional. They took the message and instruction too literally and also the handwriting looks very unappealing. This message they wanted to send was clearly sweet but it should have just been “We will miss you” written on the cake. We sure hope the person who received this cake felt appreciated and cared for amidst all this mistake.
Brutally Honesty
This cake may be decorated distastefully, but the person who made it and how honest the message it deserves recognition. The cake does not have spelling or grammatical mistakes like the other but had been made by a frank and honest person. There is no dancing with the truth here. The person receiving the cake is not loved or hated, they are far too strong emotions. The person is ‘tolerated’.
Straight To The Point
This is a cookie cake that had a very loud and clear message, sadly taken too literally once again. The one who ordered it actually wanted just chocolate and M&M’s to cover the cake but the decorator had mistaken this as a message to be added on it. Why would the decorator do this in the first place? Even though there was this unnecessary addition, the cake turned out to be alright and decorated quite well…
A Dark Turn
This cake had two separate messages. One was a very sweet message that read “Preparing for A New Life” and it had a very sweet photo of the 3D ultrasound. This cake, however, wants to remind people that mortality is no joke, that we are all vulnerable. Surely this must have been meant for a baby shower right?! The cake had another message on the right side. Just read it and join the confused club…
No Sleeping
This cake must have been made for an Easter party if you peek the Easter bunny ears that the sheep have on. But the biggest problem with this would have to be the fact that the sheep’s expression is a creepy one. The decorators went overboard and went a little too far in the details of this sheep. There is no doubt that the detailing on this cake is impeccable but we are sure the intention was not to scare away people…
