A Hidden Love Story
After two weeks since that dinner, Kay was cleaning up her attic at home. There were a lot of boxes kept there since attics are mainly used for storage. One of those boxes contained a dusty old photo album. In it were old photos from vacations they took. Including the photos, they took from that trip to Gumbet in July 1997. The truth was finally out!
A Chilling Picture
When she saw the picture, Kay was overcome with happiness. She had stumbled upon a picture of Heidi. The six-year-old was standing next to a little boy who had a blond bowl-cut and a gorgeous smile. The Ed they had mentioned was, in fact, Ed her current boyfriend. Kay got chills down her spine.
Could It Be True?
Although the picture showed two kids, Kay was sure it was her son-in-law-to-be, Ed. It was unbelievable, but it seemed that the couple who had been together for four years, had met each many years ago. After sending Fiona the picture, they were both so marveled by this discovery.
An Unbelievable Discovery
There were more pictures of the couples as kids that Kay later discovered. “When Kay sent me the photo of a little boy called Ed I shrieked, ‘oh my goodness, that’s Ed!’ It was unbelievable,” remembered Fiona. Both Fiona and Kay shared the photos with members of their families. Heidi was overwhelmed with wonder that such a thing could happen.
