Charlie’s 2 Year Wait Is Finally Over
Charlie spent two years in a shelter located in Virginia. Now, Charlie has his own permanent house. “It’s finally happening, and especially when you get so attached to dogs,” Ashley Hamilton told WTVR. “It’s just huge.”
Caretaker Gets Sentimental
Hamilton, one of the employees, who took care of Charlie at the Spotsylvania Animal Shelter, became very sentimental after discovering that the adorable was finally having a home of his own.
Long Distance Affair
“Sorry,” she apologized as she fought back tears saying “It’s just really exciting.” Just like Joel Carpenter, who famously traveled more than 1,000 miles to pick up his four-legged friend, Charlie’s new owner found himself in a similar situation.
A Never Ending Driving Scene
Jason Davis, who had grown up close to the shelter, drove hundreds of miles from Pennsylvania to pick up the dog. And the traveling scene will definitely continue as Davis had decided that he would take Charlie along with him on official trips where he delivers boats to customers.
To Be Spoilt
“It was love at first sight,” Davis said. “He is going to be spoiled rotten. He’ll get to see the country. He’ll be in the ocean tomorrow.” He added: “That’s one of the reasons I did take him because I knew how much he was loved here.”
Next, on the list, we have an oldie, a whopping 17-year-old dog, who was adopted by a couple after visiting his shelter…
