Onwards & Upwards

This was certainly not the end of Tanna’s amazing journey. All thanks to the show, Dina and Tanna grew really close to each other and had many conversations. It was a good chance for Tanna to give some advice and ideas about work to Dina and it really paid off! Tanna soon got a promotion. She was now a franchise consultant and also kept in charge of ‘Women in Trades’ program that she had initiated.

Keeping Busy

Tanna Marino’s role at ‘Women in Trades’ program allowed her to hire female to join the Dwyer group. This did not mean that she was void of troubles and obstacles. Tanna revealed, “In my new role with the Women in Trades program, I’ve mainly been concentrating on attempting to spread more awareness about our scholarship program. We really, really want to have more women working in all our different brands.”

So What Now?

Tanna Marino after appearing on ‘Undercover Boss’ had certainly made a remarkable change in both her personal life and career. People were starting to recognize who she was on the streets too. As she recalled her amazing journey since the show, she had a lot of positive comments too give. “The entire experience has been nothing less than phenomenal,” she added, “Not only do I work for a wonderful company, I get to do what I love.” But what happened next?

In A Year

Do Tanna had certainly been through a lot in just a matter of 12 months. To think this all started with Dina her boss dressing up as ‘Faith Brown’ an employee is truly unbelievable. Tanna’s career had managed to strengthen within these few months. She had managed to build an impenetrable bond with her boss during the taping of the show. Since she was genuine even outside of her workplace, it had landed her all the more opportunities.

Another Role

After a year since the show, the mother from Cypress, Tanna Marino had transformed her fairytale ending to become a new beginning. The details on how she made this transition is certainly worth reading! Starting off as an appliance technician to become a corporate consultant is certainly inspirational. This new role allows Tanna to be able to spend some much-needed quality time with her family while also recruiting new female employees to the company.

Stronger And Stronger

Even though Dina Dwyer-Owen interacted with three other employees, Tanna Marino was the one that made the most impact in the male-dominated field that the company caters to. She was also raising her kids on the sideline as well! So collectively, she ended up giving $35,000, where $10,000 was for the scholarship fund that her kids would use later. An extra $5,000 had been given to initiate the  ‘Women in the Trades’ program, that has grown tremendously.
