Lee was being interviewed at the show. She was talking about Jeffrey, her son who died in 1989 and Pat, her daughter who passed away in 2003. The names did remind her of something. Surprisingly, for some unknown reason, she remembered both the name and dates that the lady mentioned.
The Connection
She needed to confirm her doubt. She took out her adoption document for one more time. As she had expected, the dates mentioned in the interview was there on her adoption records too. The passing date and details of both Jeffery and Patricia were in sync with the information in the record pertaining to her biological family. “The hair on the back of my neck stood up,” said Patricia. She told herself, ‘No, that can’t be.’”
What Was She Missing?
But why was Lee on the TV? Was she a famous face? The show she was featured in was a famous one. How she made it there? Had Patricia missed upon important things? Well, she actually did. She was soon going to learn that one of the members of her biological family was one of the most famous celebrities in the world. Her curiosity fanned!
Helping Mama
Andre who had been fully grown by that time sensed that her mother was up to something. He realized that her mother’s quest circles someone called “Vernita.” In order to help her mother, Andre extracted as much information as he can from every possible source.
Still The Same
No matter how much she tried Lee did not budge. In fact, she blocked all possible way for Patricia to see her. After lots of efforts when Lee refused to see her, she turned to her pastor. Patricia requested her pastor to get in touch with Lee’s pastor. It was one of the many efforts she had been making since the realization and like all others, it failed to work. However, Patricia was not totally out of luck. Things took an interesting turn when she found out about the famous person who happened to be a part of the family.
A Name
By now, Patricia had done all research on the life of Vernita Lee. It was during the research work she stumbled upon a name that she already knew. The name happened to be one of the most influential names. They had seen her on TV number of times but had no idea, the person was a close relative. Things were processing just like a movie in her life. So, you must be wondering now, who that person is? Well, the name of the person is……….
