Have you ever relied on teamwork to help you escape the terror of a gunman’s public attack? Spencer Stone, Alek Skarlatos and Anthony Sadler were Americans who visited France when they heard gunshots. With Skarlatos’ plead to, “Get him,” Stone went and tackled the gunman, with his two friends and others present. The 4 guys were able to save themselves and several other passengers.

Subway Rescue

Jumping on the railway track is dangerous but when Charles Collins did it, he ended up saving a life. After Alfred McNamee was too close on the edge of the platform in a downtown Philadelphia subway station, he fell off and broke his back. Then Collins jumped too so as to save the stranger, ‘”I just saw him down and jumped down… just instincts… I’m not a hero. I mean, people do the same thing.”

Life-saving Pizza

Cheryl Treadway and her three kids were held hostage by boyfriend Ethan Nickerson. She somehow convinced him to let her order pizza. She left her order, “Please help. Get 911 to me” in the section for her delivery instructions. The pizza place called 911 for her and thankfully took her word seriously. Hostage negotiator Lt. Curtis Ludden was able to convince Nickerson, 26, to release Cheryl and her kids to safety.

Band Of Strangers

Xiong Tien, 28 was actually saved by a group of strangers who had a truck run over his body. These people cooperated and unified their strength to save him after a horrific crash. He was on his way back home but unfortunately met with an accident after a truck squashed him. He was sent to the hospital where a hospital worker revealed, “He was very lucky he wasn’t crushed to death. He had a broken leg and ribs and was bleeding quite badly from a head wound.”

A Doggy Distraction

A 7-year-old French bulldog Simba met an Air Canada pilot who ended up saving his life. The pup was kept in cargo on a flight from Tel Aviv to Toronto but unfortunately, there was a heating issue which left the interiors blazing hot. After hearing this, the driver diverted the flight to Frankfurt airport to save Simba’s life. Owner German Kontorovich felt immensely grateful, “It’s my dog, it’s like my child.”
