Who Donated It?
As mentioned earlier, Julie had made lots of donations to Goodwill in the past. She wondered if she had brought the glove to the shop by accident. She tried to recall but nothing struck her mind. She wanted to know who had dropped the glove in the shop and thought of asking the shop owner for the records but for now, she decided to concentrate more on the glove.
Smiling And Crying Both
Miraculously, the glove was still in good shape. Though it had gotten little dusty, it looked good. The name on it had not smudged a bit, let alone getting faded. Now she could not control her tears. They were streaming down her cheeks while a smile had occurred on her face.
Viral
The news of Julie’s amazing discovery got viral. The story got covered by several local news broadcasters, WPTV. They covered this extraordinary story. They even took an interview with Julie who expressed her wish to meet the person who donated that glove and thank them. Well, the identity of the person who donated the glove is still a mystery for everyone.
How Did It Happen?
Not only the couple but the staff of the store too were excited to know how did the glove come to their store. Rounds shared, “There’s so much that comes in so many bags, boxes totes.” “There’s no way of tracking it either. It would have been fun to find out how.”
Mystery Remains
No matter how much they wanted, they could not find anything about the person who made this donation. Julie was extremely happy and surprised that she found the mitt. Julie is fond of collecting objects belonging to her family’s past. Especially, the gloves that reminded her of the childhood of her son and the time when they had just shifted to the house.
Father’s Gift
When he lost the glove he felt really bad not because it was his favorite but because his father had bought it for him. “I felt bad for a lot of reasons because I knew my parents worked hard to get me what I have and my dad was a teacher and my mom stayed at home until she went back to teaching. So, any possessions I had mattered to me because I knew how hard they were to come by.”
