What she was seeing was absolutely true. After all these years it was finally there right before her eyes. She began to shiver. It was a blank moment for her. She forgot she was in a thrift store. Her legs began to wobble and she was literally shaking. What had she seen?
Back In Time
The woman teleported to the time when Christopher was just a kid. She remembered the day when he came back home upset. She finally had found out the reason behind his unexplained sadness. This too after 40 years. Christopher had no idea what he was going to be present within the next few hours.
Sending
She took out her phone and clicked the picture of the thing and sent it to Christopher. Whereas Mike was busy looking for cups and mugs remaining unaware of all this. She had no idea that her son had kept this as a secret from her. Christopher was in for a big surprise.
Buy It
Christopher reminisces, “I just heard my phone ding and I looked at it and she said is this yours? She sent me a picture and I recognized the handwriting. I recognized it all. And she said we found it at a Florida thrift store and I just said buy it. That’s all I texted back was buy it!”
Lost It
Julie said, “We never really knew that he had lost it; he didn’t share it with us.” She had found a mitt with her son’s name scribbled on it. Initially, the woman was skeptical about it as she had no idea that her son had lost his glove but the name on the glove and later a talk with her son confirmed that it was her son’s mitt. “I thought, ‘It can’t be,’ but you can always tell the markings on your kids’ things,” Julie said.
All Surprised
No need to say Christopher was all surprised. The glove read “Christopher Lisi.” The man felt a void filled inside him. He could not wait for them to come home and hand him the gloves. He explained, “Tears started welling up.”
