Possible Theories
After doing some thinking, Gayle recalled that it could be her mother who hired a private eye to look for her father who abandoned them long back. She was just a teenager when her father left, yet Gayle understood it within a few months that he will never return to her and her mom. However, her mom never believed it.
Searching And Searching
Gayle saw it becoming a matter of delusion for her mother who assumed that her husband was missing or kidnapped. Even when her young daughter tried to bring her to reality, she kept searching for her husband. Gayle’s father was purposefully hiding from the two of them and her mother never believed it.
When Cops Stopped Helping
After nearly one-year-long search operation, the cops finally stopped looking for Gayle’s father. When the cops stopped helping the lady, in finding her husband, she started to contact private detectives to seek help.
Past Experiences
As per Gayle’s understanding, this could have been the work of her mom and no one else. But what surprised her was the fact that the private detective hired by her mom never contacted her. Maybe this detective had a different style of working. Sadly, all of her guesses proved to be wrong when the detective explained the actual reason behind his call.
Demanding Answers
So, this private detective kept asking her general questions, meanwhile, she kept wondering the motive of this call. Gayle finally interrupted the heavy voice on the other line and demanded an explanation for this call. The private investigator didn’t hesitate at all but paused for a couple of seconds to make a wise choice of words to explain his reason.
What Now?
As she asked a clearcut question to the private detective about what he wanted, the man replied in an even more serious manner: “Your son is looking for you…The son you gave away in 1985.” Really? Did Gayle abandon her own child during her teenage years? Could she be doing it after knowing the pain of parents abandoning kids?
