SukritiMost of us forget the sole meaning behind relationships. A relationship is only worth it when it brings the best to you. We are running towards our goals with so much speed that we forget to look around and admire the beautiful nature. We understand that many people don’t have an urge to appreciate nature and love to live their city lives full of daily chores and office works and stay back home comfortably on weekends. As long as they’re happy with their lifestyle it’s perfectly fine. However, there are many who love to travel and explore but are unable to take some time off from their work to do what their hearts want.
A few people are oddballs and the story we are about to share with you is about a similar kind of couple, who knew what they wanted and did it in their own style.
College Friends
Will Hitchcock grew up in the mountains of Northern California while Alyssa Pelletier lived in the mountains of Southern California. The two met during their college days at California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo. They had many similarities and same preferences when we talk about likes and dislikes. It took no time for them to become friends.
After College Life
Soon after completing their college, they moved to the San Francisco Bay area where they found jobs in tech and startups in Silicon Valley. Will and Alyssa both are goal oriented people and were looking forward to a successful career like any other fresher does. Although, they’re quite different from the crowd and you’ll know the reason in the next slide.
The Not So Perfect Life
People dream to work in Silicon Valley where Will and Alyssa worked. To some, it might come as a shock but the couple felt that they didn’t fit in. They were earning and living the time of their lives working there. It was everything they planned and dreamt of. There seemed nothing wrong in their lives and two seemed like a happy couple.
Something Didn’t Feel Right
Each and every one of us has a unique way of thinking and so our desires differ. While most of us couldn’t really find out what we want from life or what’s the purpose of life, Alyssa and Will were closely noticing their daily routines and they were not satisfied with their lives. Yes, they used to go out have fun but that doesn’t seem enough for the two.
Self-Realization
They seemed to be looking for more out of their lives, something that soothes their souls and help them in finding their peace. Within a short period of time, they realized what it was that they really wanted to do with their lives. That was it for the two, they wanted to go ahead and do what they love, although, there was a big risk they were about to take for the sake of their dreams.
Let’s Quit Together
Now that Alyssa and Will knew what they liked the most, their dream was asking the couple to give up on their bright careers. So, were the two ready to take this big step and for the sake of what? Was it even worth giving up everything? How would they manage to survive in the long run if things don’t go as per the plan?
